JOB SUMMARY

  • Reports to the Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Manager.  Implements and conducts clinical ambulatory pharmacy services within Saint Joseph Health System and is driven to meet and exceed customer expectations.  Holds self and department accountable for achieving the highest level of quality of care, customer service, and employee satisfaction.  Recognizes the contribution for desired results.  Assists the director in selecting, developing, and maintaining a team of proficient staff.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Education: Requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through the completion of the degree of a Doctor of Pharmacy.

  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Indiana pharmacy license or be a graduate of an accredited school or college of pharmacy and licensed in the state of Indiana as a pharmacy intern.

  • Experience: Candidate has PGY-1 and PGY-2 Residency Training with emphasis on Ambulatory Care. In lieu of residency training, candidates have five years or greater pharmacist experience in the ambulatory care setting.  BCPS or BCACP Certification preferred.
