Our Role:

The candidate will be given an opportunity to work in Asset Management team, which manages assets in the Asia Pacific. Through the course of internship, the candidate will be given an introduction to commercial real estate investment and management concepts and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support asset managers on day to day work. This may cover the following areas:

    • Due diligence required as part of acquisition work with transactions

    • Review periodic property reports and track operating performance. Prepare regular updates summarizing results and respond to information requests.

    • Review quarterly appraisals for factual accuracy and consistency with other similar properties.

    • Budget process and preparation of the annual strategic plan for each property

    • Support development and delivery of Asset Enhancement Initiatives

    • Support oversight of property management standards

  • Provide support on ESG initiatives for the assets in the region e.g. submission of ESG related reporting, benchmarking, GRESB, certifications etc.

  • Address any other ad-hoc duties required by the Asset Management team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint

  • Comfortable with handing large amounts of data

  • Good understanding of fundamental finance and accounting principles

  • Real Estate knowledge is advantageous but not a must

  • Fast-learner; Strong attention to details; Disciplined work ethic
