What you will do

As a Fund & Firm Manager, you will report to the Head of Fund & Firm and provide essential support in the governance and execution of expense allocation across products and firm entities. This role is focused on assisting with transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency by working closely with the associated Councils, which include Finance, Legal, Compliance, Product, and Portfolio Management teams.

You will help maintain global policies, contribute to modernization of allocation processes, and ensure consistent application of standards through accurate documentation and coordination. Your efforts will enable smooth operations and reinforce best practices across the organization, complementing the leadership of the Head of Fund & Firm and the PGIM Councils.

What you can expect

  • Expense Allocation Management: Assist in developing and documenting allocation proposals that align with global policies, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Support the Head of Fund & Firm & the associated Councils in preparing presentations and providing input for decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Update and refine stakeholder-facing materials related to allocation methodologies and policy updates. Ensure documents remain accurate, current, and aligned with global standards to support effective communication by the Head of Fund & Firm and the associated Councils.
  • Execution, Tracking & Reporting: Maintain and update allocation execution records, approval workflow documentation, and reporting templates. Ensure all materials reflect current fund impacts and compliance metrics to support accurate tracking and oversight.
  • Policy Modernization & Technology: Refresh policy documentation and related resources to reflect current standards. Ensure workflow automation tools and modernization materials are properly documented and kept up to date to support ongoing initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Product and Portfolio Management teams to ensure alignment; act as a connector between Fund & Firm, Product and Finance teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with the Head of Fund & Firm and the Councils to identify process improvement opportunities, assist in implementing best practices, and contribute to change management efforts across the organization.

What you will bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in financial governance, expense allocation, management consulting or related roles, with exposure to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of fund structures, expense policies, and regulatory requirements; ability to apply these in operational contexts.
  • Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to support decision-making and explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial systems, workflow tools, and willingness to learn new technologies to enhance processes.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $150,000 to $180,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
