Job Summary: The position is in DCSA's Personnel Vetting, Trust Decision- Adjudications Directorate (PVD). Under the direction of the Deputy Associate Director (DAD) the Senior Advisor will serve as a primary member of the executive leadership team and will advise the DAD and work closely with PVD senior leadership. The Senior Advisor will lead and support strategic projects identified as priority PVD initiatives for the PVD mission and the workforce to include Security Review Proceedings.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 14 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Expert-level experience leading and supporting projects that include high level implementation of mission planning, project design, and integration strategies; leading and supporting future developments, advancements and changes for the workforce and workforce planning; leading and directing multi-cross functional teams responsible for personnel security operational, human capital and workforce innovative solutions; advising and executing task responses, work activities, assignments and projects internal/external to the organization ensuring the effective completion of initiatives; directing and managing large multi-faceted programs with a wide variety of activities being accomplished concurrently; and ability to work successfully with Federal officials at various levels and exhibit the leadership characteristics of persuasion, diplomacy, mature judgment, reliability and ingenuity.
