Personal Support Worker - Restorative Duties (PSW) - Temporary Part Time (TPT) - Timmins

This position is for our Extendicare Timmins home, located in Timmins, ON.  

Available opportunities include Temp Part-Time 2 Evenings 1100 -1900

What you’ll be doing:

• Implement the restorative care strategies and interventions for the resident as per the care plan; Complete all resident restorative interventions and strategies as directed by the restorative leads; Inform the nurse and restorative leads if resident has pain, experiences functional or cognitive decline or is not progressing as anticipated.
• Document the amount of time spent performing each restorative care intervention on the resident’s record in PCC; Participate in weekly reassessment of resident progress in the restorative care program. 

What you bring:

• PSW/HCA certificate; Able to perform physical tasks and duties, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting; Compassion, professionalism, and respect; Knowledge and demonstrated experience in one-one/group programs.
• Flexible and willingness to learn new tasks; Ability to multi-task and adapt to quickly changing priorities; Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English (other languages an asset)
