Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Admin Assistant to join our growing team in Houston TX! 

 The Personal Lines Admin Assistant is responsible for supporting the Account Manager in all aspects of the personal lines renewal process, including preparing and reviewing renewal documents, obtaining quotes, processing endorsements and audits, issuing policy documents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely communication with clients and carriers.

 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Prepare the Renewal Update document to be reviewed by Account Manager and released to the client; Account Manager to obtain renewal information from the client.
  • Assist Account Manager in the preparation of the submission for renewal quotes.
  • Assist Account Manager with follow ups to the incumbent carrier(s) to obtain renewal quotes in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare the renewal proposal for review by the Account Manager prior to release to the Client or Account Manager
  • Perform the Renewal Procedures after Account Manager has requested renewal coverage to be bound.
  • Perform renewal process for accounts with assistance and guidance from Account Manager
  • Update direct bill screens and assist Account Manager with invoicing agency bill renewal policies.
  • Check policies; transmit to client; update Agency Management System
  • Maintain current Activity log; follows up on open activities.
  • Prepare Accord Change Request; transmit changes to insurance carrier(s); update Agency Management System
  • Process endorsements; review, invoice, transmit.
  • Process final audits; review, invoice, transmit.
  • Process incoming mail as requested by Account Manager
  • Issue Binders
  • Issue Auto ID Cards
  • Issue standard Certificates of Insurance and Evidence of Property
  • Obtain Premium Finance Agreement quotes and prepare document for signature.
  • Keep abreast of industry changes and trends.
  • Participates in seminars and classes for knowledge and skill development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Personal Lines Account Manager.

 

Licenses and Certifications:  

 

  • Willing to obtain insurance license within 60 days.

 

Skills & Experience to be Successful: 
 

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook.

  • Experience in customer service and office administration.
