The team
You’ll be part of Tribe Growth, a multidisciplinary tribe focused on enabling ING’s growth ambitions by continuously improving how we attract, onboard, and engage our customers. The tribe brings together product, tech, analytics, and business expertise, working closely across domains to deliver meaningful customer and business impact.

As Personal Assistant to the Tribe Lead, you’ll operate at the centre of the tribe’s leadership team. You’ll support effective collaboration, help maintain focus on priorities, and enable smooth day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑moving, outcome‑driven environment. Roles and responsibilities
In your role as a Personal Assistant, you will support the Tribe Lead Growth in the Netherlands. It is important that you are visible and approachable, actively involved and act proactively. Responsibilities include:

  • Work in a proactive and constructive way. You can get things done even without formal authority and you know when to give advice or raise concerns
  • Take ownership of complex agenda management. You plan ahead, understand priorities, and know the purpose and sensitivity of each appointment.
  • Assess appointments based on priority, sensitivity and purpose
  • Recording, organizing and managing incoming and outgoing business matters. You will respond to queries, arrange for the manager to respond or forward them to the right person in the organization (Dutch and/or English);
  • Handle organizational, logistics and facilitating activities for business trips, (tribe) events, meetings, lunches, media, receptions and anniversaries when necessary. This includes following up on action points;
  • Take care of administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate records, managing expenses, handling purchase orders, and processing approvals.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and external contacts. You understand how to navigate the organization effectively.
  • Handle information and communication carefully. You draft clear internal notes and emails in both Dutch and English.

  • Have experience supporting a senior leader in a complex or international organization, including advanced calendar and meeting management.
  • Write clear and professional communication in Dutch and English and can easily adjust your tone to the situation.
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills
  • Build trust quickly and feel confident giving constructive input, even without formal authority.
  • Are confident using Outlook, Teams, and Excel, and can work comfortably with tools like Workday and I-buy (E-Profit).
  • Stay calm and organized when priorities shift. You maintain high quality and pay close attention to detail.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and good judgment.
