- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Performance Testing Engineer with 12+ years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in performance engineering principles, cloud monitoring, and system performance analysis, with the ability to drive performance testing strategy and provide deep technical insights across complex distributed systems.
- This role requires an individual who can design, execute, and analyze performance testing initiatives while collaborating effectively with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to ensure scalable and resilient systems.

Your key responsibilities
- Lead and drive end to end performance engineering and testing strategy across applications and platforms.
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to validate system performance and reliability.
- Perform deep dive performance analysis, identifying bottlenecks across application, database, infrastructure, and network layers.
- Collaborate closely with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
- Build and maintain performance test scripts and frameworks using industry standard tools.
- Monitor system performance using cloud and application monitoring tools, deriving actionable insights from performance metrics.
- Provide clear performance reports, analysis, and recommendations to technical and leadership stakeholders.
- Drive a performance engineering mindset within the team by promoting best practices, automation, and proactive monitoring.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance benchmarking for critical applications.
Your skills and experience
- 12+ years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering.
- Strong expertise in performance testing concepts, methodologies, and engineering practices.
- Handson experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter for scripting and execution.
- Experience with Gatling will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP monitoring and cloud-based performance analysis.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in BigQuery for performance data analysis.
- Strong Linux/Unix expertise, including system level performance troubleshooting.
- Handson experience with application performance monitoring and profiling tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Expertise in performance bottleneck analysis, root cause identification, and optimization recommendations.
Soft Skills & Leadership Expectations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data driven approach to performance engineering.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical findings clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast paced, complex environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross functional teams including development, infrastructure, and product teams.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills, delivering clear performance insights and recommendations.
Preferred
- Experience working with largescale distributed systems and cloud native architectures.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation in performance testing.
- Experience with capacity planning and performance optimization strategies.
