Performance Media Specialist (Seasonal)

The Performance Media Specialist is a member of the Performance Media team and is primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution and operations across the team. This role assists Campaign Managers with essential tasks—including audience management, campaign quality assurance (QA), and billing reconciliation—to ensure the timely and accurate execution of campaigns across programmatic and biddable media platforms.


This position is a part-time seasonal role (estimated at 40 hours per week) and in-office in our New York City Headquarters, this role will be April through September, aligning with MLB’s regular season schedule.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related ield, OR equivalent relevant experience.
  • Digital Marketing/Paid Media coursework is a plus.
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred to assist with data organization and billing.
  • Baseball and sports enthusiast preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage repetitive tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn internal systems and audience data platforms (Adobe CDP, Google Analytics).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Audience Management: Creates and distributes paid media audiences from Adobe CDP and Google
  • Analytics platforms to advertiser accounts; ensures audiences remain up to date and populated.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Assists in the campaign QA process, reviewing campaigns for accuracy across all paid media channels (SEM, Programmatic Display, Paid Social, Video).
  • Financial Operations: Assists in the month-end billing process by aggregating and renaming invoices, and QAing final invoice forms for accuracy.
  • Platform Exposure: Gains exposure to and familiarity with bid management platforms (Search Ads 360, Display and Video 360, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, etc.) while learning internal systems.
  • Administrative Support: Records, organizes, and distributes notes from team meetings, highlights any relevant industry news to the team.
  • Creative Trafficking: Acts as a checkpoint for creative assets, ensuring the correct assets are received from Clubs and meet technical specifications before campaign launch.
  • Performs additional organizational tasks and supports projects as assigned. Supporting the Needs of Stakeholders
  • Executes against project plans to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
  • Collaborates with manager and stakeholders to support business needs.
  • Communicates in a clear and concise manner that is easy to understand.

Pay Range: $25.00-30.00 per hour
