We are seeking a motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-native microservices and infrastructure. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and platform teams to build automated, observable, and resilient systems that support mission-critical enterprise applications.
. Design and execute comprehensive performance evaluations, including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
· Assess application and system performance to pinpoint potential bottlenecks.
· Partner with development teams to enhance application efficiency.
· Develop and maintain reliable monitoring and alerting frameworks.
· Ensure optimal service availability, scalability, and reliability.
· Automate operational processes through advanced scripting and tooling.
· Conduct thorough root cause analyses (RCA) for production incidents.
· Strategically plan and forecast infrastructure capacity requirements.
· Advance system observability utilizing logs, metrics, and traces.
· Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLI, SLO, and SLA.
· Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, K6 (preferred), and JMETER.
· Knowledge of monitoring tools, including NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
· Solid understanding of Linux systems and basic networking concepts.
· Basic knowledge of databases, such as Postgres and Oracle.
· Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, perl, or JavaScript).
· Experience working with AWS cloud platform and its services, including EKS.
· Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
· Practical knowledge of incident management, reliability engineering, and performance tuning.
Demonstrated experience in infrastructure cost optimization and FinOps methodologies.
· Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.
· Proven background in working with microservices-oriented architectures.
· Comprehensive understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
· A Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· 1 to 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in supporting cloud-based and production environments.
· Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
· Eagerness to learn and implement SRE and cloud best practices.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Proactive ownership mindset with an emphasis on system reliability and continuous improvement.
· Self-starter, able to take initiative and work independently.
