Performance Analyst – North America Consumer & Retail Marketing

Description -

About the Role
The Performance Analyst turns data into direction for HP’s North America Consumer & Retail Marketing organization. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations & Performance, this role builds the analytical engine that helps leadership understand what’s working, what’s not, and where to optimize next.

You’ll connect data across campaigns, retail activations, category inputs, and financial performance to create clear insights, dashboards, and recommendations that drive smarter decisions. You’ll be the go-to partner for marketing performance reporting and the glue between Marketing, Category, Sales, and NA Strategy & Planning.

What You’ll Do

1. Build the Performance Intelligence Engine

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks across Consumer, Gaming, Print, and Retail Marketing.

  • Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance against targets (MRC, MDF/DGF usage, launch readiness, retail health, campaign efficiency, etc.).

  • Consolidate data from multiple teams (Media, Content, Retail, WW Marketing, Category, Finance) into one unified view.

2. Deliver Insightful Analysis & Recommendations

  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across marketing activities and retail touchpoints.

  • Provide actionable insights to improve campaign performance, sell-through, retail execution, and customer engagement.

  • Support business reviews, budgeting cycles, and strategic planning with data-backed narratives.

3. Enable Stronger Decisions & Better Operating Rhythm

  • Partner with the Head of Business Operations & Performance to streamline reporting cadences and ensure leaders get what they need, when they need it.

  • Build templates, trackers, and reporting tools that strengthen consistency and operational excellence across the org.

  • Translate complex data into simple, digestible stories for senior leadership.

4. Support Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Act as the analytical link between Marketing, eCom/Retail teams, Category, and Sales.

  • Ensure metrics are aligned across functions and that “one version of the truth” is used across the organization.

  • Coordinate with NA Marketing Strategy & Planning to integrate insights into the broader NA rhythm.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing analytics, business operations, or performance/insights roles.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience pulling and synthesizing data from multiple sources.

  • Skilled in dashboard creation (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) and advanced Excel/Sheets.

  • Ability to translate data into meaningful stories and recommendations.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong communicator who can simplify complexity and influence decision-making.

Why This Role Matters

This is the role that ensures marketing performance is visible, measurable, and continuously improving. You’ll help the organization move from activity-driven to outcome-driven—fueling smarter investments, stronger retail execution, and better business results.
