Per Diem Short Order Cook – Food and Nutrition – Rotating Shifts

The Short Order Cook must set up workstations and provide meal service for staff and visitors from the grill area. Performs breakdown and clean-up of workstations and other related duties including station set-up, service and maintenance, break-down and cleaning of stations. Able to prepare attractive items for customers using grill, fryer, toaster, etc. in a timely manner. Keeps self-service frankfurter station stocked and neat. Keeps entire grill area neat.
This is a per diem rotating shift position located at NewYork Presbyterian Westchester Hospital, located in Bronxville, NY.
Required Criteria:
· High School Diploma or GED
· One year of food service, customer service, and grill experience.
· Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer and flat top grill.
· Computer literacy.
· Must be able to prepare fast food items.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
