Per DiemPharmacy Technician – Rotating shifts

                                                                     

NewYork-Presbyterian is excited to expand our mission of delivering the highest quality care to Westchester County and surrounding communities. In September 2025, we’re opening a state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, a center designed to set new standards in patient experience, convenience, and quality care. Led by top Columbia doctors, this multi-disciplinary facility will offer specialized adult and pediatric care all under one roof.

Play an active role in shaping the future of pharmaceutical care  Help our licensed pharmacists provide carefully prepared medications and high-quality care to patients. Advocate for patient safety as part of an empowered team by adhering to stringent standards. Assist with the training of students, interns and new technicians. Pursue this extraordinary opportunity to learn, grow and achieve alongside some of the most respected professionals in the field.

Required Criteria:

• High school graduate or equivalent with the ability to read and write English.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• New York State Pharmacy Technician License
• Computer/PC experience
• Excellent human relations and oral communication skills.
• At least one year of prior experience in a hospital pharmacy or health care environment (nursing home care).  Experience with compounding chemotherapy preferred.
• Must be self-started with ability to think independently in solving routine customer service issues
• Must be able to distinguish colors patient names and other written words on a pharmacy medication label.

Salary Range:

$38.11/Hourly
