Job Description

Primary Location:

Ogden, Utah

Special Events:

Actively solicits and calls on all potential special events customers, such as towns, cities, and counties to sell beverages at their holiday and community events.

Loads, unloads and transports product, vendors, coolers, fountains, and other appliances to and from customer locations. Uses hand trucks or other manual lifting devices.

Utilizes tools and cleaning equipment to perform preventive maintenance and required sanitation service on fountain and related equipment.

Uses disinfectants and solvents to clean parts and components.

Cleans and washes parts. Replaces worn or defective parts such as panels, switches, pumps, lines, fittings, and defective wiring.

Keeps assigned service vehicle clean and performs routine fluid, air, oil maintenance on vehicle. Calibrates control devices such as timers and thermostats and adjusts contact points.

Interacts with customer to identify and meet Special Events requirements.

Attends city council meetings when decisions are made to solicit new business with respective cities.

Prepares, connects, pulls, and sets up and takes down Special Events trailer for scheduled events. Obtains cups, straws, lids and promotional signs and banners for scheduled events.

Installs and removes fountain product tanks.

Completes required Special Events forms and accounting.

Completes vehicle, service call logs and other required documentation. Performs duties of service technician on weekend and off-hours schedule. Wears and utilizes appropriate safety equipment.

Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must meet company driver qualifications.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform basic functions of math in all units of measure and formats and to interpret rate, ratio, percent, and graphs.

REASONING SKILLS

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
