You’ll contribute to people related initiatives tied to Toyota’s broader corporate strategy, supporting planning activities such as Hoshin planning, balanced scorecard reporting, and programs of work across People & Culture, including strategic workforce planning and culture/change projects.

This is a 1-year Fixed-Term opportunity based in Altona (hybrid), with a structured onboarding period and close collaboration with senior team members across Strategy, Engagement and Internal Communications.

  • Coordinate strategic planning processes, workshops and reviews — and at times lead coordination to keep deliverables on track.

  • Document and communicate strategic outputs including plans, frameworks, roadmaps, and key updates for stakeholders across People & Culture.

  • Track progress against strategic objectives and KPIs, supporting monthly and quarterly reporting rhythms and ensuring timely, accurate inputs.

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and project inputs, managing timelines, actions, dependencies and stakeholder engagement to maintain momentum.

  • Support identification and development of strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects that strengthen competitive advantage and enable business readiness.

  • Support People & Culture engagement activity, assisting with engagement events and touchpoints (e.g., Hoshin days and internal events).

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the team including scheduling, meeting coordination, workshop logistics, and document management.

  • Maintain reporting systems and dashboards to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities with accurate and timely information.

Your attributes — if this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Comfortable working with KPIs, reporting and planning rhythms, and turning information into practical insights and actions.

  • A team-oriented, flexible approach. You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and support across varied initiatives and events.

  • Proficiency across Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams/SharePoint) and strong attention to detail.
