Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Business & Workforce Partnership
Partner closely with Commercial leaders to translate business priorities into a robust people and workforce strategy aligned to short- and long-term goals.
Own strategic workforce planning for the Commercial function, including capacity planning, role design, critical skills identification, and succession pipelines.
Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on organization design, role clarity, productivity, and scaling decisions within a defined employee span (~350).
Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience
Drive and embed a strong, performance-oriented and inclusive culture across Commercial teams.
Lead employee listening and pulse mechanisms, translating insights into targeted, practical actions that improve engagement and effectiveness.
Strengthen the employee experience across the entire lifecycle – onboarding, development, performance, career progression, and exits.
Talent Management & Leadership Development
Own the talent management agenda for Commercial teams, including performance management, succession planning, and development of critical and high-potential talent.
Coach leaders on people effectiveness, leadership behaviors, and managing complex employee situations. Identify leadership capability gaps and partner with L&D to build relevant interventions.
Learning & Development
Drive the L&D agenda for the Commercial organization in partnership with the Learning COE.
Ensure learning priorities are tightly aligned to commercial capability needs (sales effectiveness, leadership, change readiness, functional skills).
Talent Acquisition & COE Partnership
Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to deliver hiring plans aligned to workforce strategy, ensuring quality, speed, and diversity.
Collaborate with HR COEs (Rewards, L&D, HR Operations, ER, Analytics) to deliver integrated and scalable people solutions for Commercial teams.
HR Analytics & Insights
Leverage HR analytics and dashboards to provide leaders with actionable insights on attrition, engagement, performance, capability, and workforce risks.
Use data to proactively identify trends, anticipate challenges, and influence leadership decisions.
Projects & Change Enablement
Lead and contribute to critical people projects across Commercial teams, including transformation initiatives, change programs, and process simplification.
Support leaders through periods of change with clear communication, strong change management, and high employee trust.
