Our People team partners closely with leaders and managers across the business to deliver a great employee experience - supporting everything from day-to-day people challenges to broader culture, capability, and growth initiatives. We're a small, commercially minded team who move fast and aren't afraid to roll up our sleeves. In Cardiff, you'll be part of a team of three supporting a large, high-volume Customer Operations function - it's varied, fast-paced, and no two days look the same.

What You’ll Be Doing 🗃️

We’re looking for a proactive People Partner to join our team in Cardiff for a 12-month maternity cover. 

• Support and coach managers through various stages of the employee lifecycle, helping them build confidence in handling employee relations cases effectively and autonomously. 
• Use data and trends to help identify and implement proactive solutions
• Support the Lead People Partner on initiatives related to performance management, learning & development, wellbeing, and inclusion
• Support the delivery of key people programs and cyclical processes
• Collaborate with the wider People Function to define initiatives, policies and tools that enable our people to succeed

We’re Looking For 🔎

• Previous experience in a People and/or ER-focused role, ideally in a fast-paced, technology driven operational environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of ER cases confidently, pragmatically and with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - calm under pressure and confident advising managers
• Good understanding of UK employment law and HR policies 
• Resilient, solutions-focused, and motivated to grow and develop within a supportive team
