About the Role

The People Organization Intern will gain hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines, including People Business Partner (PBP) support, Total Rewards, Culture & Engagement, and cross-functional project work. This role is ideal for a student who is passionate about employee experience, people data, culture, and learning how modern People teams operate. You’ll work alongside experienced HR leaders and contribute directly to initiatives that help employees and managers thrive.

Our internship program is designed to support students’ learning and growth while helping meet educational curriculum requirements. Interns work on projects that encourage critical thinking, measurable goal-setting, and independent work.

Responsibilities

  • Support the People Business Partner teams with employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding. 
  • Help create documentation, resources, and communications for employees and managers. 
  • Prepare data and insights for talent reviews, workforce planning, and org design discussions
  • Conduct research and compile best practices to strengthen performance management and manager capabilities.
  • Track employee feedback to provide actionable insights for People Partners.
  • Assist with data analysis and team reporting.  
  • Build professional and brand aligned PowerPoints to support culture initiatives.  
  • Assist with compensation and benefits data maintenance, audits, and HRIS accuracy work.
  • Partner with the total rewards team to prepare materials for compensation cycles, benefits updates, or market benchmarking.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail. 
  • Intermediate computer skills with experience using MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel.  Comfort with spreadsheets or basic data tools is a plus, but not required.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to learn and take initiative.

Education & Experience

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited college or university program (or recent graduate) pursuing Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Exposure to multiple HR disciplines across a full People organization preferred.
  • Hands-on experience contributing to strategic and operational initiatives preferred.
  • Mentorship and professional development from experienced People team leaders preferred.
  • A strong foundation in modern, employee-centered HR practices preferred.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay of $20/hour.
