People Ops Specialist II (Time and Attendance)
Job Summary
We are looking for People Ops Specialist II (Time and Attendance) with focus on Time & Attendance to support payroll operations and timekeeping processes across US, Uruguay and other LAC countries. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate time & attendance data, payroll inputs, compliance, and reporting, while also supporting employees and stakeholders with queries and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular timekeeping and time & attendance (T&A) activities for the MVD and US centers.
Execute weekly and end-of-period T&A validations in Workday.
Prepare and validate T&A inputs for payroll processing (ADP – Uruguay).
Maintain and update vacation records and prepare vacation bonus calculations.
Generate and analyze monthly overtime reports.
Manage maternity and paternity leave processes.
Manage On call information to payroll.
Monitor and manage employees with regular or excessive overtime.
Support T&A processes across multiple LAC countries (AR, BR, CL, CO, CR, DO, EC, MX, PA, PE).
Assist employees with payroll and T&A-related queries.
Perform data analysis for HR and payroll-related needs.
Work with HRIS in order to maintain and update Workday configurations related to T&A.
Prepare and remotely present monthly reports to local authorities in Uruguay (e.g., Zonamerica)
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in Payroll, Time & Attendance, or HR Operations
Strong understanding of T&A and good understanding of payroll
Experience working with Workday and ADP (preferred)
Experience of supporting multi-country operations (US and LAC preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Advanced Excel skills
- Should be flexible to work in night shifts
Nice to Have
Knowledge of US/Americas payroll regulations
Experience with reporting tools / dashboards
Experience handling audits or compliance processes
