People Operations Job Overview
Sabre’s People operations is part of a global HR problem-solver pool that successfully deliver value-added HR services and operational excellence while creating a great team member experience through the entirety of our team member’s employment life cycle, including post-employment requirements.
People operations work across multiple administration areas including, but not limited to:
- Employment: hiring and termination processes, evolving labor law and associated implications, contract renewals and dismissals, immigration and global mobility, retirement, personal data changes, etc.;
- Benefits: driving self-service and ensuring appropriate processing of all changes, partnering with COE, brokers and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth elections and renewal processes;
- Annual Involvement and delivery of annual company programs including VCP and merit, as well as any ad hoc initiatives.
People operations work as experts in HR processes, are voracious learners, great listeners, and seek to continuously challenge and improve internal ways of working. These specialists will:
- Proactively act as an expert in complex case management or projects by offering profound expertise and knowledge;
- Seeks opportunities to leverage existing technology to enhance and streamline processes;
- Identify deficiencies of existing business processes and proactively recommend enhancements and/or simplification, as well as implement improvements and monitor success based on day-to-day experiences and PTSC reporting and analytics;
- Actively engage with people business partners, legal and payroll teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and proper maintenance of processes and documentation for all locations where Sabre employs team members.
People operations provides excellent HR services to team members and partners with other teams to deliver seamless and efficient process management:
- Ensures professional, timely and effective communication with all stakeholders;
- Acts as coach to provide best in class solutions and guides team members on existing tools that can support problem solving;
- Support company’s culture by building awareness among team members about existing knowledge base, policies and regulations.
- Ensures accuracy in personnel records:
- Personnel records maintenance (job history, retirement and insurance documentation, leave accrual records and details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression, etc.);
- Excellent data management to ensure personal data security and compliance with local regulations.
Role requirements:
- 2–5 years of total HR-related experience.
- Self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from ensuring HR partners, managers and our team members have the best tools, processes, and customer service;
- Knowledge/Experience in people operations area will be a plus;
- Willingness to learn and develop in global team and gain experience in international environment; Ability to work in a team to achieve common goals;
- Strong attention to detail and ownership;
- Critical thinking/reasoning and problem-solving skills;
- Highly organized, strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service, flexibility, innovation, high energy self-started with the utmost level of integrity and confidentiality;
- Ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy. Work well under stress with the ability to deliver on time;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English which will be leveraged on daily basis;
- Advanced computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office package;
- Experience in HR tools will be a plus, especially Workday;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
