As a People Data Standards Analyst - Data Migration, you shape our data usage and ensure the adherence to global standards and polices. With our goal to simplify and automate you will drive standardization and consistent data usage across the region. We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative People Data Standards Analyst to join our Master Data Management (MDM) Regional team. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, consistency, and quality across our people systems through effective data management, including the development and management of Enterprise Integration Builders (EIBs). Main responsibilities:
- M&A Integration Support - Support merger and acquisition projects by analyzing and harmonizing people data from acquired entities. Assess data quality and identify gaps in incoming organizational data. Develop integration plans that align with MDM standards and best practices. Ensure compliance with data governance policies during organizational transitions.
- Data Migration & System Implementation - Lead and execute data migration activities for people systems implementations and upgrades. Develop and implement data mapping strategies to ensure seamless transitions between systems. Validate data accuracy and completeness throughout migration processes. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of migration procedures and outcomes. Collaborate with Digital and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues related to data.
- EIB Development & Management - Design, develop, and maintain templates and Enterprise Integration Builders (EIBs) for data integration and transformation. Configure and optimize EIBs to ensure efficient data flow between systems. Troubleshoot and resolve EIB-related issues to maintain data integrity. Monitor EIB performance and implement improvements as needed. Create and maintain documentation for EIB processes.
- Data Harmonization & Standardization - Analyze disparate data sources to identify inconsistencies and standardization opportunities. Ensure alignment on data standards, definitions, and business rules for people data. Partner with regional and global stakeholders to establish unified data standards.
- Knowledge Transfer & Team Enablement - Serve as a subject matter expert on data standards, MDM processes, and EIB development. Develop training materials and documentation to support team learning. Create templates, user-friendly guides and reference materials for data standards implementation.
About you:
- Experience: 4 – 6 years of related experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies. Understanding of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.)
- Strong experience in developing and managing Enterprise Integration Builders (EIBs). Proven experience with data migration projects and system implementations. Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles and practices. Proficiency in data analysis, mapping, and transformation techniques. Experience with Workday HCM systems and people data structures. Advanced Excel skills, experience with data analysis tools preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in EIB development and optimization. Experience supporting M&A integration activities and data consolidation. Demonstrated ability to harmonize data across multiple systems and sources. Track record of successful data migration and implementation projects. Experience in creating and delivering training and knowledge transfer programs.
- Technical: Strong understanding of EIB architecture and best practices. Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand complex data relationships and identify harmonization requirements. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences. Collaboration: Strong team player who can work effectively across regional and functional boundaries. Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving data quality issues. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data validation and quality assurance. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. Deep understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Masters in Life Sciences/Healthcare, Business Administration, Engineering or Information Technology.
- Languages: Verbal and written fluency in English
