  • Salary: $87,813 - $116,824 + super

About the role

  • Support the Senior People Partners with management of grievances, misconduct, performance management and organisational change. This includes providing guidance, support, coaching and education to managers

  • Interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, policies, legislation and other relevant information

  • Aid in the implementation of strategic projects and initiatives and provide a high level of expertise and problem-solving skills to determine the most appropriate HR solutions to improve organisational processes and procedures

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with line management and key stakeholders within the allocated client groups to ensure priorities are met

  • 3 days from the office (1 Leichardt Street, Darlinghurst), 2 days from home, each week

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources / Business and/or related field

  • Minimum two years of hands-on experience as a Business / People Partner or similar role, ideally within the Healthcare sector

  • Proven success delivering the full scope of operational Human Resources services in a similar, large and complex environment

  • Demonstrated high-level of proficiency with HRIS, learning management systems, rostering and other HR and Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously when required, possessing a passion for building connections with stakeholders and colleagues alike

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire others through coaching and mentoring

  • Experience within a unionised environment will be advantageous

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.

  • Closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes, many of which are located on-campus

  • Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health
