As a People & Culture Partner – Norway (HR Partner), you will be part of the People & Culture (P&C) Experience & Performance (XP) team supporting the execution of P&C processes and employee-related initiatives under the guidance of the P&C XP Leader – Nordics. This role contributes to the delivery of P&C processes, services, employee engagement activities, and compliance with local labor practices. The P&C XP Partner collaborates with local managers, employees, and cross-functional P&C teams to ensure smooth and consistent P&C operations.
As a People & Culture Partner – Norway (HR Partner), you will be responsible for:
- Acting as the first point of contact for employees and people leaders, providing leadership, coaching, and support for individual employee needs and P&C processes in Norway.
- Assisting in executing core P&C processes such as employment agreements, promotions, salary adjustments, and internal movements.
- Connecting with local talent and implementing the talent management agenda in the country.
- Coaching and supporting people leaders, assisting with workforce planning and talent reviews.
- Helping implement employee engagement initiatives and regional P&C projects at the local level.
- Supporting the communication and implementation of country‑specific P&C policies and procedures.
- Monitoring updates to local labor legislation and escalating relevant changes to the P&C XP Leader.
- Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and assisting in preparing documentation for audits or inspections.
- Acting as a first point of contact for employee queries related to P&C policies, performance, and workplace concerns.
- Assisting in coordinating disciplinary and grievance procedures in collaboration with the P&C XP Leader and Labor & Employment Relations Center of Excellence.
- Helping facilitate Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and follow‑up actions as needed.
- Helping follow-up sick leave and actions as needed.
- Supporting restructuring, RIF, and M&A processes by preparing documentation and coordinating logistics under the direction of the P&C XP Leader.
- Assisting in site assessments and labor office inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Liaising with HR Shared Services, Payroll, and other P&C teams to resolve employee issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant years of experience in HR Management or Business Partnership).
- Have strong knowledge of Norwegian employment processes and legislation.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Have the ability to influence others and lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Desired to have previous experience in handling Unions and Industrial Relations.
- Desired to be fluent in Norwegian language.
