Purpose of Position
Our global People & Culture (P&C) team drives initiatives that shape our culture and elevate employee experience. We partner with leaders to design inspiring people strategies and org-wide change and lead exciting talent programs that attract and develop top performers. We are looking for a new team member and that could be you!
In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for managers and employees at our location in Poland while continuously building a relationship of trust and approaching challenges in a solution-oriented and people-centric way.
In this role, your primary focus will be on P&C Operations, while you will also collaborate closely with the Talent and P&C Business Partner teams to ensure continuous support to our Poland-based staff across the full generalist remit.
What you'll do:
P&C Operations: you are fully responsible for the entire P&C administration in Poland, which includes amongst other things:
- creating employment agreements and amendments;
- administrating local benefits;
- managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes locally (onboarding, changes, offboarding);
- maintaining accurate P&C data and employee records in the HRM and files;
- ensuring compliance with local labor laws, policies and internal procedures;
- handling employee queries and provide first-line HR support;
- reporting HR-relevant KPIs;
- identifying and implementing process improvements and standardization in P&C Operations.
HR Partnering / Consulting
- You build strong relationships with managers and employees in Poland and are seen as a person of trust.
- You provide guidance and coaching on policies, processes and employment law to P&C Business Partners, managers and employees where applicable.
- You work on ad hoc P&C initiatives for Poland and occasionally also on global projects and support other P&C colleagues if necessary.
Talent Acquisition
- You occasionally provide hands-on support for local recruitment needs, managing the full cycle hiring process (from job posting to offer stage) in collaboration with the Talent team.
- You ensure consistent use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for candidate management, compliance and reporting.
What you bring:
- You have at least 2 years of work experience in a (generalist) People & Culture / HR function in Poland; experience in an international company is desirable but not essential.
- Some experience in recruitment / talent acquisition is a plus, not a must.
- You have a good understanding of Polish employment legislation and experience handling Employee Relations (ER) matters, including sickness cases and day-to-day ER topics.
- You are fluent in both Polish and English (both orally and in writing). English is our worldwide company language and it enables you to communicate with your colleagues across countries.
- You are available to work from our Warsaw office about 2-3 days a week, to develop trust relationships with the local team in person and handle some of the manual signatures needed by local regulations.
- You are highly self-driven and like to take initiative, proactively identifying issues and addressing them promptly without requiring close guidance.
- You have a natural interest in people and a passion for working in a people function.
- You have a talent for organization and a highly structured way of working; you can handle and learn from new situations and you don’t let your work output be jeopardized by a stressful day.
