You will contribute to our team by:
Serve as a trusted advisor to US leaders, shaping high-performing teams and driving business outcomes.
Guide managers on performance, coaching, and career growth.
Lead innovative, inclusive recruitment and retention strategies for US operations.
Champion culture, wellness, and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) initiatives.
Advise on employee relations, conflict resolution, and positive workplace culture.
Provide expertise in union/labor relations, including collective agreements and negotiations.
Respond quickly to urgent People & Culture issues and support change management.
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong background in union environments.
Proven expertise in union agreements, negotiations, and labor relations.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence outcomes at all levels.
Operates with integrity and manages confidential information appropriately.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid Office/Work from home position, with travel to meet business users at Capital Power facilities or other offices across the US.
