SUMMARY
The People Coordinator is the welcoming face and heartbeat of the People (Human Resources) team. This role is perfect for someone who loves serving others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to grow within the HR discipline.
As the first point of contact for our Associates, this position delivers exceptional customer service with a cheerful, solutions-oriented approach. The People Coordinator manages daily administrative operations while creating a warm, professional, and efficient experience for every Associate interaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Include but are not limited to:
Serve as the front-line ambassador of the People office — answering calls, greeting Associates and walk-ins, and responding to general People inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
Provide timely support to Managers and Associates with scheduling, password resets, and general HR-related questions
Support the full-cycle recruitment process and help create a best-in-class candidate experience
Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and communication with newly hired Associates
Administer I-9 documentation and verify employment eligibility through E-Verify
Track employment offers, background checks, and drug screen results with urgency and accuracy
Maintain organized personnel files and enter Associate data accurately and confidentially
Support Associate engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs
Assist with payroll, benefits, and recruitment processes as needed
Maintain a polished and welcoming People office environment
Proactively look for ways to improve processes and contribute to the growth of the HR function
Perform additional duties as assigned
This role requires a high sense of urgency, strong follow-through, and a genuine desire to support both Associates and leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or an administrative role within hospitality preferred
Previous luxury hotel/resort experience a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Exceptional organizational skills and time management
Positive, professional, and service-minded attitude
Advanced computer literacy; Workday experience preferred
A clear interest in growing within the People discipline
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Most work tasks are performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. Must be able to sit for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly.
