Position Summary:

The People Consultant is key member of the regional People Organisation. They will be the primary point of contact for People Managers, in addition to managing proactive support to the EMEA workforce as part of the People function. The role will work with the local HR leaders in support of building teams that drive BMS’s business priorities; building the BMS culture and becoming an employer of choice; supporting engagement and business continuity; and delivering against our People Strategy.

Detailed Position Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to managers with guidance and support for more complex workforce management and HR policy advice; and
  • Proactively plans and implements strategies to upskill new People Managers and provide support and counsel to experience People Managers when navigating through various HR processes and issues.
  • Use discretion, sound judgement and takes decisions as appropriate, to determine the best method of resolution.
  • In support of the HRBP, use diagnostics/data and understanding of business needs to identify proactive HR interventions and people practices in support of local business objectives.
  • Ensure that the workforce and leaders understand People processes.
  • Partner and support business groups to enable the development and implementation of One BMS culture across EMEA locations.
  • Support the HRBP’s in engagement. Build capabilities to drive organizational performance through individuals and managers as well as identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Coordinate and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of global priorities and life cycle processes- working with the PS teams, leading and advocating for improvements that enhance the customer experience.
  • Partners with the HRBP, global Centres of Excellence (COE) in the rolling out of global programs and processes to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Have a deep understanding of employment legislation in one or two EMEA countries, to ensure that processes and policies adhere to the changing legislation and work with COE and PS colleagues when legislation might require some changes regarding contract template changes.
  • Research, problem solve and respond to issues requiring a HR perspective/alignment, working closely with PS colleagues, HRBP and COE.
  • Work collaboratively within the HRBP to share ideas, ownership, and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for key HR processes, across EMEA.
  • May also lead and get involved in country specific or regional/global People related projects, as required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years HR experience, preferably in an international matrixed environment in a virtual shared services environment
  • HR or Equivalent Degree Qualification
  • Extensive experience as an HR business partner or HR Generalist with strong leadership skills and experience working with multi-functional business teams.
  • Exposure to employee relations issues and cases
  • Demonstrated success in working effectively with senior management levels to impact and influence decision making.
  • Proven Business & Analytical Acumen along with problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Data literacy, analytics and ability to frame and articulate storytelling based on complex data set.
  • Organization efficiency and intelligence: experience in understanding organization dynamics affecting the organization culture
  • Proven track record in developing employees and managers.
  • Ability to “flex” across different types of cultures, work, complexities, business situations and matrix partners.
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset and proven records in transforming the employee experience.
  • Demonstrated use of communication and change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working.
  • Excellent English and written communication skills including the ability to deliver clear and articulate presentations and communications
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities, root cause analyses and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to build networking with various stakeholders, such as employees, HR partners, management groups, business leader, working groups etc.
  • Experience co-ordinating and supporting projects
  • Proficiency in an EMEA language, such as French, Spanish or Arabic would be an advantage

Compensation Overview:

Warsaw - PL: zł132,387 - zł160,423

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. The final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience and in accordance with pay equity principles and applicable employment laws.
