People Business Partner - Temporary contract (maternity leave)

As the People Business Partner, your role will be two fold: on the run side, be the people partner for our Ops and People teams and on the project side (40%), continue to support talent & performance cycles to develop and retain our best element

This job is based in Lille on a part time basis (3 days a week). 2 days at least should be spent in the office of Lille and the last day could we worked from home.

The mission will also require occasional travels to Paris HQ, paid by the company.

🎯 About the mission

Reporting to the VP People, you will be in charge of:

  • Building a strong and confident relationship with your populations, from ICs to Execs
  • Becoming the go to person for organizational, people and managerial topics regarding your population
  • Proactively supporting business projects and changes in your scope by building adhoc programs and answers
  • Deploying all classic cycles (performance, salary, talent, learning & development) in your populations with the support of other People teams (mainly People Ops, Talent Acquisition, Work Place, Learning & Development)
  • Oversee employee relations matters providing guidance and support to resolve issues effectively and in accordance with company policies, with the support of the VP People & Legal team

Being a People Business Partner and Comp&Ben Project Manager requires some enthusiasm and a wide skill set:

  • Business partnering: you are a People expert - especially with engineers, with a C&B expertise and you understand business constraints to deliver relevant product and solutions to a targeted audience
  • A relation builder: you are a go to person and knows how to build strong relations with a variety of actors
  • Impact-driven: you know how to prioritize your tasks, define key results to achieve, and focus on what matters most
  • Attention to detail: you are a number person, data savvy and structured to analyze insights and build adhoc solutions. Excel is your friend for sure.
  • Doer mindset: you are not afraid of taking responsibility and getting your hands dirty as we are still a growing organization
  • Tech-savvy: you are familiar with finance and tech jobs and ideally you know how they work (agile, scrum or lean knowledge would be a plus)

 

Your experience:

  • You have at least 7 years of experience with a proven track record in tech companies, of which partly as a people business partner for tech teams
  • You have worked in an international context, and you are fluent in both French and English
