How You Will Make History Here…

As the People & Culture Manager, you will serve as a strategic business partner at the site level, shaping a high-performing, engaged, and compliant workplace. You will play a critical role in building strong people systems, supporting operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that align with both plant and company-wide goals.

What You Will Do…

  • Lead day-to-day P&C operations for a manufacturing site with hourly, salaried, and contract associates, providing hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle.

  • Partner with plant leadership and Talent Acquisition to support recruiting, retention, and workforce planning efforts.

  • Maintain a positive employee relations environment by responding to concerns, conducting investigations, interpreting policy, and ensuring fair and consistent disciplinary practices.

  • Drive learning and development initiatives, including leadership training, supervisory development, diversity and inclusion efforts, and new hire selection processes.

  • Build internal talent by leading succession planning efforts and executing high-quality development plans.

  • Manage compensation processes for hourly and salaried employees, including wage surveys and annual recommendations.

  • Lead performance management processes for hourly and salaried populations, including objective setting, development planning, reviews, and appraisals.

  • Partner with site leadership and Safety to drive safety performance, manage workers’ compensation, and support wellness initiatives.

  • Oversee benefits administration and leave of absence processes, including annual enrollment and employee issue resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and Affirmative Action requirements.

  • Act as a change agent by supporting lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, engagement surveys, and culture-building efforts.

  • Plant leadership and front-line managers to support people strategies, performance, and engagement.

  • Corporate partners including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Legal, Safety, and HR Supply Chain leadership.

  • Employees at all levels of the organization, from hourly production associates to senior leadership.

What You Bring to the Table… (Must Have)

  • Bachelor’s degree (higher degrees count for additional experience)

  • 6+ years of Human Resources experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills with attention to detail.

It Would Be Great If You Have… (Nice to Have)

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • PHR or SHRM certification.

  • Experience supporting lean manufacturing environments, including 5S, kaizen events, and standard work development.

  • Demonstrated business savvy and experience partnering closely with senior leaders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$113,100-$162,600

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
