About the Role 

As a People and Culture Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and people strategy for Nepal while working closely with the Director of People & Culture, APAC on high‑impact regional priorities. This is a visible, hands‑on role designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of culture, performance, and growth—and wants to help build the people foundations of a scaling, tech‑driven organization. 

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, influencing how teams work, grow, and succeed every day. From performance and engagement to leadership development and culture‑building initiatives, you’ll bring people strategies to life in a way that resonates locally while aligning with global standards and best practices. You’ll also play a key role in strengthening belonging, inclusion, and connection across teams—using both human insight and modern HR tools to drive consistency, efficiency, and impact.

Your day to day 

  • Partner closely with the Director of People & Culture, APAC to execute regional people programs and deliver priority initiatives across the APAC region.
  • Serve as the primary People Business Partner for Nepal, supporting cross‑functional and technical teams with people matters including performance conversations, team effectiveness, and workforce needs.
  • Design and deliver engaging employee experience initiatives—such as engagement surveys, culture programs, and well‑being efforts—tailored to local teams and informed by data.
  • Drive the execution of core people processes including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback cycles, ensuring a fair, consistent, and well‑communicated experience.
  • Implement and continuously improve HR policies and processes, balancing local labor law requirements with global frameworks and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to support onboarding, leadership development, and people‑leader capability programs.
  • Leverage HR systems and people analytics to identify trends, surface risks (e.g., engagement, attrition, performance), and recommend clear, actionable solutions to senior P&C stakeholders. 

What you bring to the team 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in People & Culture or HR, including 2–3 years in a HR Business Partner or generalist role—ideally within a tech, product, or high‑growth environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR practices and employment laws in Nepal; experience supporting multi‑country or regional teams is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience with HR tools including HRIS platforms, performance or engagement tools, and people analytics or reporting dashboards.
  • Proven experience supporting performance cycles, employee engagement initiatives, onboarding programs, and policy implementation.
  • Data‑driven mindset, with the ability to interpret people insights and translate them into practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the credibility to partner effectively across levels, teams, and cultures.
  • Comfort operating in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Cultural agility and the ability to navigate local and global perspectives with empathy and confidence.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively in a regional and global setting.
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field.]

Working Arrangements

  • Standard hours: 9 hours/day, 5 working days
  • Location: Onsite
  • Shift: 10 AM – 7 PM local time
