Help State Street’s Global Human Resources (GHR) turn complex, enterprise-scale workforce data into clear, actionable insights that inform senior leadership decisions. This role is hands-on and analytics-driven, focusing on data transformation, visualization and modeling, while also partnering closely with HR and business leaders to ensure that resulting executive-ready insights are translated into meaningful action.
Specific duties of the position include
- Establish new ways of leveraging both existing and emerging technologies, such as GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot) and data lake house (e.g., Databricks), to accelerate analysis, enable new insights, and improve workflows, resulting in deepened insights being delivered at the leadership level
- Transform large, multi-source, global datasets with varying structures into a single, coherent data model to support deeper analysis
- Apply advanced machine learning techniques, such as regression modeling, to uncover and quantify the drivers of employee behavior and outcomes

- Transform large, multi-source, global datasets with varying structures into a single, coherent data model to support deeper analysis
- Apply advanced machine learning techniques, such as regression modeling, to uncover and quantify the drivers of employee behavior and outcomes
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and PowerBI to design, build, test, and deliver executive‑ready dashboards, visualizations and models that synthesize data into meaningful insights for business partners
- Own analytical deliverables end-to-end, from problem definition and data preparation through model/data visualization, and executive communication
- Ensure dashboards and models are analytically sound, scalable, and aligned with business partners decision making needs and strategic direction
- Translate complex and ambiguous non-routine requests into actionable steps with minimal direction from above. Adapt quickly as priorities evolve, while maintaining analytical rigor and data quality
- Interpret and communicate analytical results and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership, in a concise and compelling manner
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Business Analytics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or advanced reporting role
- Advanced proficiency with BI tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI, including designing, building and publishing complex dashboards
- Strong experience working with large datasets in data warehouses or data lake environments (e.g., Databricks)
- Experience with statistical analysis techniques, such as regression modeling, and applying them to real business problems
- Experience with programming languages, such as R and Python, for statistical modeling, and SQL for complex queries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and executive presentations
- Experience partnering with leadership-level stakeholders to translate analytical findings into actionable insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex analyses clearly and concisely
Preferred Experience
- Experience applying analytics skills within Human Resources, People Analytics, or workforce-related domains, or in similar domains involving human behavior, organizational outcomes, or operational decision making
- Familiarity with HR metrics and KPIs (e.g., attrition, hiring, mobility, workforce planning) is a plus, but not required
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $140,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
