The Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC is looking for an experienced Pediatric Advanced Care Practitioner to join their infusion APP team. The infusion APP will function within a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care for children and young adults with various oncologic and hematologic diagnoses, as well as pediatric subspecialty patients receiving infusions in our Atrium Health Levine Children’s Infusion Center.

About the Opportunity:

· Collaboratively manage pediatric subspecialty patients requiring infusions in fast paced infusion center.

· Manage allergic and infusion related reactions, scheduled chemotherapy/immunotherapy/iron infusions, blood product transfusions, and additional symptom management as necessitated for scheduled infusions.

· Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures and bone marrow aspirates and biopsies

· Participate in quality improvement and committees

· Provider group of 15 physicians, and 18 advanced practice providers

· Schedule: 4 10 hr shifts/week (8 am – 6 pm); weekend and holiday coverage on a rotation

Position Requirements:

· 2-3 years of experience as an advanced practice provider

· Hematology/Oncology experience is preferred, but not required

· Physician's Assistants and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (must be acute care certified)
