As an RN in our Medical and Surgical Sub-Specialty Clinic, you'll join a collaborative team of nurses who work on the frontlines of patient care. Since the Medical and Surgical Sub-Specialty Clinic serves patients from across all our clinics, you’ll have the opportunity to touch the lives of hundreds of patients a week. In this role, you'll see a large volume of patients from every clinic in the hospital, providing nursing assessments, performing patient teaching, and lending a hand in other clinics as needed.

· Full-time dayshift position (40 hours per week).

· Ideal candidate would be one experienced with working with multidisciplinary team.

· Ideal candidate would be experienced with diverse population (neonate to late adolescents).

Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • RN required. BSN required.

Minimum Experience:

  • Completion of eighteen (18) months of clinical nursing experience (St. Jude or other RN experience) is required.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required by Law:

  • (LC: RN-TN) Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure non-Compact state.
  • (LC: RN-ARK or RN-MISS) Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $31.50 - $55.00 per hour for the role of Pediatric Oncology Nurse II: Medical and Surgical Sub-Specialty Clinic.
