Job Description

Peace Meal Driver prepares materials, loads, and delivers food items to communities from the central kitchen. Coordinates daily with the Kitchen Supervisor for correct number of meals and proper loading. Assist with meal preparation and cleaning of kitchen.

Department: Peace Meal

Hours: PRN as needed (Not Benefit Eligible)

Potential hours: Monday - Friday between 6am - 2pm. No weekend or Holiday hours

Location: Based out of Mattoon

Required: Valid IL Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, Food Handlers within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assists in general kitchen responsibilities such as food preparation, food storage and cleaning as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor., Gathers and packs appropriate items for delivery, including milk, bulk food, packaged food, supplies, paperwork and other items as directed by Kitchen Supervisor., Loads items in vehicle in appropriate order for delivery., Provides general cleaning of food carriers, vehicle and storage area.
