PDS Analytical development Research analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical analyses (Appearance, pH, Osmolality, KF, etc.), biochemical analyses (ELISA, PAGE, Western Blot, Capillary Electrophoresis, etc.), and chromatographic analyses on small and large molecules (peptides, proteins, enzymes, antibodies, nucleic acids).
  • Conduct instrumental tests and maintain equipment in line with analytical methods, accurately recording parameters/results acquired (e.g., raw data, temperature readings).
  • Prepare reagents and standard substances, ensuring quality control as per SOP/methods in use.
  • Maintain analytical materials in good condition and ensure their accurate storage as detailed.
  • Draft and complete laboratory documentation (e.g., notebooks, registers) and review produced data.
  • Work together in assessing materials for analytical tasks and associated documentation; if assigned, manage the preparation of purchase requests.
  • Maintain instruments, materials, and the work environment in good condition, promptly informing the supervisor of any irregularities.
  • Adhere to company procedures for managing laboratory waste and by-products.
  • Provide support for reagent, standard, and chromatographic column management according to internal procedures. Update the supervisor on project-specific materials.
  • Track thermostated systems, informing the supervisor of any deviations.
  • Receive materials necessary for laboratory activities.
  • Support external companies for laboratory instrument qualification/maintenance.
  • Conduct sample collection for stability studies, including at external warehouses, and promptly report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Manage the delivery and collection of documentation required for analytical activities (e.g., SOPs, methods, protocols).
  • Complete in-process controls on development batches according to the laboratory schedule.

  • Ability to consistently follow SOPs and keep equipment in perfect condition.
  • Solid organizational abilities and the capacity to handle several tasks effectively.
