As part of the Planning Design and Construction Strategic Sales Manager team, you will have upstream responsibility for the Endo business by developing, coordinating and executing sales efforts and strategies to meet sales objectives with sales leaders and key customers. As part of the PDC SSM team, this role will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy at the area level for architects, equipment planners and upcoming large projects. They will support the area and regional level in developing successful IDN strategies for the Endo business in concert with strategic sales. This role will develop, implement and enhance analytical tools in the form of medical construction data and salesforce data; They will provide training, resource support and upstream foundational information as necessary to support area level sales and efforts with key customers.  Engages Sales Representatives and Regional Management to facilitate and drive coordination 2 – 5 years out.  Actively seeks and facilitates large Key Account opportunities, has interfaces with high-level customers and leads C-Suite interactions.

 

Responsibilities-

  • Identify and pursues large opportunities 2 – 5 years out
  • Partner with area director / RMs and sales team to foster relationships with key accounts in defined geography
  • Partner with sales team on strategy for Key IDNs and IDN PDC Teams
  • Partner with Corporate and National Accounts to provide upstream coordination
  • Identify, develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships; ensure key contacts are maintained throughout the sales process and post-sale activities
  • Work closely with cross-divisional branches to drive collaboration and improve return on investment for Stryker
  • Support cross-divisional branch leaders and managers on business opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze upstream market information to optimize sales
  • Partner with Marketing to identify and develop custom solutions for key accounts
  • Educate and train sales leadership and representatives on an ongoing basis
  • Must be capable of working with executive levels internally and externally to grow relationships, identify opportunities and maximize partnerships
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement team and participate in the Sales and/or Marketing training of others
  • Host, attend and participate in meetings (i.e. National Sales, meetings, training meetings.).
  • Manage budget and expenses

 

Requirements-

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • 4-6 years related sales and/or marketing experience
  • Fundamental Computer Skills
  • Must have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Must have the ability to develop consistent, well-supported, competitive strategies
  • Must have proven strategic and analytical abilities
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions and businesses.
  • Strong organizational skills.

 

Education Required-

  • B.A. or B.S.

 

Travel Percentage: 70%
