RTX Corporation’s Supply Chain Logistics team is seeking Raytheon Intelligence and Space Operations Logistics team is seeking a Sr, Supervisor to serve as a team member responsible for various shipments, company internal, non-government, non-contractual and government owned/contractual that must ship in accordance with Defense Contract Management Agency Transportation rules and regulations. You will perform a wide array of duties from preparation of government bills of lading using government software from Surface Deployment and Distribution Command.

What You Will Do

  • Instill a culture of safety and quality.
  • Successfully lead a PDC and Shipping of team of six to execute to aggressive schedules, and meet required metrics.
  • Oversee authorizations for shipment in Wide Area Work Flow Receiving Reports, DD1149s and DD1348s.
  • Ensure accountability to the government’s many rules and regulations specified in the Defense Transportation Regulations, Military freight traffic unified rules publication and others.
  • Oversee the execution of Foreign Military Sales preparation using the Defense Contract Management Agency transportation tools and Mil-STD-129 for the preparation of Military Shipment labels.
  • Ensure shipments are handled and listed in the Defense Transportation Regulation Part II, sensitive and classified materials.
  • Coordinate and monitor workflow for team members, assist in prioritizing activities in assigned areas to improve upon service level commitment.
  • Support team supervisors, and external sites in the organization.

What You Will Learn

  • HazMat Shipping Certification

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires, a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience shipping Military assets using government shipping software systems.
  • Experience with shipping and loading dock activities, including lifting up to 28lbs.
  • Experience with Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Past experience of proven leadership.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • General industry experience and understanding of protocol in a defens.e company, including work with Government Furnished Material (GFM)
  • Experience coordinating the shipment of classified and sensitive items including Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E).
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), and Defense Transportation Regulations.
  • Import/Export Compliance experience.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • At least 5 years of logistics, transportation, govt contracts, and/or related work experience.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
