DESCRIPTION:
Join our sales leadership team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll support growth and customer success in the laboratory equipment and services market. You'll lead and develop a sales team, focusing on both new business development and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts. This role combines strategic account management with team leadership, emphasizing our commitment to providing effective solutions in laboratory equipment, diagnostics, and services. You'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that help our customers advance their important work in making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's degree plus 5 years of demonstrated sales experience in laboratory equipment, diagnostics, or related scientific industries
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Science, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or related scientific discipline
• Prior sales team leadership or management experience
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing revenue
• Strong proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com and SAP
• Excellence in pipeline management and sales forecasting
• Advanced business presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities
• Demonstrated relationship-building capabilities with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
• In-depth knowledge of competitive landscape in life science and healthcare products
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills
• Ability to travel as required for customer and team meetings
• Additional language skills may be required
• Experience in contract renewal business and tender management preferred
