Role Title: Supply Chain Category Analyst 

Role Description: We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Category Analyst to support our client in delivering critical supply chain and procurement outcomes within the Maritime domain. This role is pivotal in enabling category management strategies and developing advanced analytics tools that drive operational excellence across Defence programs.

As a Supply Chain Category Analyst, you will lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Supply Chain Analytics dashboard and associated processes. Your work will provide actionable insights to optimise supply chain performance and support strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
 - Leading the development and maintenance of:
      - A Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) outlining the approach for building the Supply Chain Analytics dashboard
      - Progress reporting to track milestones and deliverables
      - Gap analysis of required data, including data cleansing activities where necessary
      - Training materials and SoPs for dashboard use and maintenance
      - Coordinated progress reporting for stakeholders
 - Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure accurate data integration and reporting
 - Provide expert advice on supply chain optimisation and category management strategies
 - Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for Supply Chain Analytics to determine suitable contract categories and potential savings
 - Analyse internal and external data sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within Defence supply chain contracts
 - Support governance and compliance with Defence procurement frameworks

Essential Requirements:
 - Advanced Diploma of Procurement and Contracting (or equivalent)
 - Qualifications or demonstrated expertise in Power BI and data analytics
 - Experience with Defence Logistics Information Systems
 - Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) certification (highly desirable)
