Role Title: Contract Manager - Defence Supply Chain

Role Description: We are seeking an experienced Defence Contracts Manager to support our client in managing critical supply chain contracts within the Defence Maritime domain

As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing management of existing category contracts, ensuring they deliver value and meet Defence requirements. This position requires advanced supply chain knowledge, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and expertise in contract administration within a Defence context.

Key Responsibilities:
 - Manage extant category contracts, including:
    - Supplier and Commonwealth stakeholder engagement and communications
    - Review and monitor performance management metrics and reporting
    - Prepare and process Contract Change Proposals (CCPs) for price adjustments and manage obsolescence of goods.
    - Oversee historical initial order management and resolve outstanding issues.
    - Conduct compliance reviews and monitoring to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
 - Provide expert advice on contract governance and risk management.
 - Support continuous improvement initiatives within category contract management.

Essential Requirements:
 - Advanced supply chain knowledge and experience.
 - Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
 - Strong knowledge of Defence Procurement policy
 - Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
 - Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining category contracts
 - Experience with SAP ERP Contract Management and Purchasing
