As an Italian-speaking P&C Business Partner (Advisory), you will partner flexibly and virtually with leaders across the globe. You offer on-demand, ad-hoc support on Business Partnering topics that require immediate, short-to-medium-term guidance and value creation.
Integrating deeply into the Business Partner Chapter and the People Support Solutions (PSS) organization, you will use your business acumen to diagnose needs and translate them into immediate P&C approaches. You are the "trusted advisor" who ensures effective solution implementation in partnership with other chapters.
The Opportunity:
Strategic Guidance: Provide on-demand coaching to leaders on talent management, succession planning, performance management, reward/compensation, and organizational set-up.
Advisory Support: Lead leaders through sensitive topics including transformations (change management/redundancies), employee wellbeing, conflict resolution, and employee representation.
Process Consulting: Consult, advise, and train business and P&C leaders on global systems and processes, specifically during the rollout of new initiatives (e.g., global grading).
Thoughtful Diagnosis: Evaluate risks and benefits of various P&C options, proposing fit-for-purpose approaches that align with global policies and local legislative requirements.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyze P&C metrics to make critical decisions, recommending innovative solutions that support Roche’s culture and strategic direction.
Global Collaboration: Participate in global or regional squads for P&C initiatives or new system launches.
Who You Are:
We are looking for a motivated HR professional who is ready to take the next step into a global advisory role. Whether your background is in Recruitment, Payroll, HR Services, or Employee Relations, we value your foundational HR knowledge and your ability to learn quickly.
Furthermore, you have:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in any field of HR (e.g., Payroll, Recruitment, HR Administration, or general HR Services).
Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken command of both English and Italian is required.
Communication & Influence: A proven ability to provide feedback, resolve conflicts, and influence stakeholders through clear communication.
Problem-Solving Skills: You can thoughtfully diagnose business needs, weigh the risks and benefits of various options, and propose fit-for-purpose HR approaches.
Regulatory Awareness: A foundational understanding of (or interest in) interpreting employment laws and policies to ensure legally sound and culturally sensitive solutions.
Agile Mindset: You thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, demonstrating high customer centricity and end-to-end accountability.
Relationship Builder: A natural networker who excels at navigating complex, matrixed reporting relationships across multiple cultures.
