SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Principal to drive critical work and thought leadership for a multi-year Pharmacy Benefits Services (PBS) model transformation, within the PBS organization.  This high-impact role is designed for a visionary leader who excels at driving organizational change, strategic program management, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering results in complex environments. You will be responsible for shaping strategy, overseeing execution and enablement, and ensuring that transformation and key business objectives are met on time and within scope as part of the Strategic Optimization Program. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Influence Transformation Workstreams

  • Contextualizing data and other complex information via transformation architecture. 

  • Performance Tracking and monitoring of workstream progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

  • Prepare and present updates to leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Strategic Business Planning for Business Unit Transformation

  • Serve as a strategic advisor, translating transformation and related business priorities into actionable strategies and initiative prioritization.

  • Analyze emerging trends to inform business planning.

  • Partner with business unit supply chain, finance, operations and other operating partners to create and validate business cases, along with KPIs/success metrics.

  • Create and iterate on high-impact presentations, analyses, and briefing documents for C‑suite and enterprise committees, distilling ambiguity into structured, decision-ready outputs.

Business Execution & Performance Management

  • Track and report on initiative performance, ensuring alignment with financial and clinical impact goals.

  • Develop leadership-level communications, including strategy memos and stakeholder updates across transformation work, and key business strategies

  • Partner with business unit and enterprise peers on transformation and related business strategy to drive collaboration, activation and results. 

  • Champion change management efforts, including communication planning, training, and stakeholder readiness.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in strategic planning, program management or similar management consulting roles.

  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to influence and drive change across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Expertise: Strong understanding of business operations, financial modeling, and project management methodologies.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 141,700 - 236,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
