The People Support Solutions (PSS) department brings its purpose to life by providing our colleagues worldwide with integrated HR solutions tailored to their needs. We are a team that works very closely together to ensure good employee relations, anticipate our customers' future needs, and proactively develop solutions.
The Payroll, Time, Benefits team focuses on payroll, time, benefits support and provides customer service and advisory support to P&C and business partners on local P&C systems and processes and ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with customer focused principles to ensure the Roche People Practices work for the business.
As a Payroll, Time, Benefits Specialist, you are responsible for executing HR system data maintenance and administrative activities in a timely and accurate manner in support of P&C business processes (in the area of payroll, tax, social insurance, time, several local and global benefits etc.). You are also contributing to the continuous improvement of the P&C Support Solutions delivery through analysis of the interactions and collaboration with other P&C functions within and outside of P&C Support Solutions. You need a broad understanding across local HR processes and tools, as well as local and global downstream
impacts on employee lifecycle management, finance, procurement, IT, etc. This is coupled with strong customer focus, communication skills and solution orientation.
The Opportunity:
Service & Administration: Execute precise system data maintenance and administrative activities across P&C processes, including payroll, benefits, time, tax, and social insurance.
Customer Advisory: Act as a key resource, providing high-quality customer service, troubleshooting support, and expert advice on local P&C systems, processes, and new ways of working.
Process Improvement: Own the knowledge development for P&C processes, update key documentation (SWIs/SOPs), and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure consistent service delivery, end-to-end ownership of issue resolution, adherence to defined KPIs/SLAs, and compliance with local regulatory and data privacy requirements.
Collaboration: Build strong relationships with P&C colleagues globally and locally, collaborating across regions and functions to drive local consistency and effective service delivery.
Who You Are:
Experience: You possess a university degree (HR preferred) with 1–3 years of related experience in an HR area, service delivery, or customer care environment.
Core Capabilities: You embody customer centricity, end-to-end accountability, and a problem-solving approach, thriving with a growth mindset in a fast-paced environment.
Language Skills: Strong written and spoken English and Hungarian are essential
Technical Knowledge: You have experience with standard IT applications (preferably Google Suite) and a basic understanding of local tax and social insurance regulations.
Organizational Agility: You can work independently, effectively manage multiple competing priorities, and navigate complex data structures and matrix organizations.
HR Context (Preferred): Experience in a shared service center, an HR services environment, or generalist HR know-how is preferred.
