The Payroll Specialist serves as a vital role in the overall success of the payroll function. As a Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processes and activities for employees based in the UK.


This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Processing end to end monthly payrolls for UK employees using Workday

  • Ensure payroll is paid in a timely and accurate manner

  • Work closely with the UK payroll team to ensure all day-to-day activities have been completed in accordance with the payroll run plan

  • Execute third party payroll payments in accordance with the payroll run plan

  • Ensure compliance with UK tax and social security regulations, statutory filings, and year-end reporting.

  • Perform payroll reconciliations and validations.

  • Resolve payroll queries and issues from employees and stakeholders.

  • Support payroll projects and initiatives, such as system enhancements, process improvements, and data analysis.

  • Adhering to internal policies and procedures.

  • Support on projects, process improvements, and payroll audits

  • Support the payroll service provider relationships

  • Assist in updating payroll SOPs and calendars so key processes are documented and deadlines are met.

  • Ensure SOX compliance in line with the governance framework

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, improve payroll operations and ways of working



Why You?

  • 5+ years of experience in processing UK payroll, preferably in a multinational environment.

  • Knowledge and use of Workday and Workday payroll is essential.

  • Experience working with a 3rd party payroll provider, such as ADP, Ceridian, or Paycheck

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality

  • Ability to work effectively on a solo basis and within a team environment

  • Customer service oriented with high sense of urgency

  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication

The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 80,550 to PLN 134,250 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave. More detailed information on the total reward package applicable to your role will be supplied during the recruitment process.
