Payroll Specialist

Description -

As a Payroll Specialist for Israel, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all Israeli legal entities, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality service. This role is ideal for professionals with solid payroll knowledge who are eager to grow in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

Payroll Processing Support

  • Prepare, validate, and process payroll data for Israeli entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitor data interfaces between HR systems and payroll providers, flagging discrepancies for resolution.
  • Assist in the execution of monthly payroll cycles, including pre-payroll checks and post-payroll reconciliations.
     

Reporting & Compliance

  • Generate standard and ad-hoc payroll reports for internal stakeholders and assist with statutory reporting requirements.
  • Support payroll audits by providing documentation and clarifications as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and local labor laws.
     

Employee Support

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, time & attendance, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
  • Issue payroll-related certificates and documentation upon request.
     

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with external payroll providers and internal teams (Finance, HR, IT) to resolve operational issues.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains.
  • Maintain and update payroll process documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Participate to payroll-related projects to ensure compliance and operational excellence

Qualifications & Skills

3–6 years of payroll experience.
Familiarity with payroll systems; ADP experience is a plus.
Fluent in Hebrew and English.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Good MS Office skills and willingness to learn new tools.
Customer-focused, proactive, and a team player.
