Payroll Oversight: Oversee the process for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly disbursement of multi-state/location payroll, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes.
Process Improvement: Support management with process improvement initiatives and payroll tracking.
System Testing: Test new company code setups and system upgrades and enhancements.
Validation and Accuracy: Validate the work of Payroll Specialists to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Procedure Maintenance: Maintain and update written procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Training and Updates: Provide training to new users and update the general employee base when new features are introduced.
Report Management: Manage the preparation of relevant management and statutory reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
Audit Support: Support the Payroll Manager with auditing tax forms, balance sheets, 401K, worker’s compensation, and Year-To-Date earnings.
Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Value for Customers: Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers’ needs and expectations. Develops solutions based on a customer centric approach.
Innovation: Drives and supports innovative ideas, while taking informed risks to seek and develop new or improved solutions.
