Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play an essential role in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll for team members across multiple provinces. By supporting daily operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and strengthening payroll data and reporting, you’ll help ensure a smooth experience for team members across the network.
This role contributes cross-functionally, collaborating with Payroll, Finance, HR, and clinic operations to improve processes, enhance data accuracy, and support key activities such as remittances, year-end, and analytics. Your work will directly influence payroll accuracy, workflow efficiency, and the confidence leaders have in payroll data.
Support remittance preparation for CRA, RQ, WCB/WSIB, and EHT in partnership with the Senior Payroll Analyst
Build and maintain predictive models, reports, and analytical tools to strengthen payroll insights and operations
Investigate and resolve complex retroactive payments, balancing issues, and other escalations
Review, research, and respond to assigned payroll service request tickets with accuracy and timeliness
Identify and document process improvements, contribute to system enhancements, and participate in payroll system testing
Collaborate closely with Payroll team members to share knowledge, align on best practices, and support a consistent payroll experience
Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned by the Payroll Manager or senior leadership
Support payroll training efforts and assist in creating or updating payroll documentation
Lead and assist with year-end balancing, reporting, and compliance activities
3–5 years of progressive experience in payroll, HR, or employee benefits
Hands-on experience with payroll systems; Workday or NetSuite exposure is a strong asset
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
Payroll certification (completed or in progress) is preferred
A customer-focused approach, with excellent communication skills and experience resolving escalated issues through a ticketing system
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines
A self-starter mindset, with the ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes
A collaborative, action-oriented working style, supported by strong technical aptitude
Nice to have: proficiency in both English and French

The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 CAD to $85,000.00 CAD annually. Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
