Payroll Senior Manager

Bangalore, India Full time

 India payroll specialist with the strong payroll compliance competency & efficient administration of payroll

  • Maintain employee master data & payroll records in HRMS, audits for compliance with company policies, procedures and authorizations with cyclical deadlines

  • Develop more efficient, streamlined processes to eliminate manual work (focus on automation)

  • Manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements, process F&F, gratuity payments etc

  • Ensure regular payroll compliance with statutory payments remittances and filing requirements across locations and entity

  • Compile data from various sources/locations, and maintain the required registers at location/entity level to ensure the payroll compliance is met 100%

  • Liaise with vendor for any new registrations/renewals of certifications as per the statute

  • Co-ordination with vendor and monitor on all payroll compliance aspects

  • Interface with govt bodies (PF, ESI, PT, labor related etc)

  • Manage ESOP perquisite calculation and manage tax process

  • Publish MIS reports required at location & entity level

  • Preparation of statutory reports required for audits

  • Prepare and review payroll GL account reconciliations

  • Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements

  • Support all internal and external audits related to payroll

  • Interpret new legislation impacting payroll

  • Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll

  • Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential

  • Handle helpdesks for staff & also conduct new joiner inductions

  • Monitor accurate processing of staff hiring, transfers, promotions and terminations

  • Monitor and maintain exit data in tools, drive exit process for timely & accurate F&F settlements

  • Handle payroll of international Workers (incl. compliance of tax and social security benefits)

Desired Profile

  • 12-15 years of experience in a similar role with minimum graduation in commerce & MBA-HRM
