DESCRIPTION:
Join our payroll team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to ensuring accurate and timely compensation for our workforce. As a Payroll Analyst II, you'll manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple regions while collaborating with vendors, finance teams, and HR partners to deliver exceptional service. This position offers opportunities to enhance processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Working with systems like Workday and ADP GlobalView, you'll analyze and compare data within the systems.

Coordinate processes to accurately compensate new hires, terminations and salary changes.

Process exception items such as commissions, bonus payments and stock options.

Coordinate and consolidate payroll files for upload to the payroll software.

Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, particularly ADP GlobalView and Workday

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups)

• Experience with payroll compliance, tax regulations, and statutory requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple payrolls and meet deadlines
• Experience working with third-party payroll vendors and service providers
• Process improvement and project management capabilities
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills are valued
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system preferred
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment
