Role Summary:
We are seeking a payroll professional to provide expertise to include payroll preparation and processing, completion and tracking of ongoing data audits, and maintenance and set up of employment taxes. The ideal candidate has in depth payroll experience, ADP reporting, state/local tax knowledge and possesses a continuous improvement mindset.
Your Role:
- Manage payroll time logs, corrections, tax adjustments and all other electronic inputs related to ongoing payroll processes
- Ensure accurate payroll closure through data collection, reconciliation and adherence to payroll policies
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year‑end payroll reports as needed
- Document, maintain and continuously improve payroll procedures with a focus on simplification and standardization
- Address employee inquiries, provide compliant payroll guidance and deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with SOX, internal audits, company policies and all applicable national/regional laws
Your profile:
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and / or 0-2 years relevant experience
- Fluency in English and German
- Strong knowledge of Germany and Austria payroll processes, taxes, labour law and HR regulations
- High attention to detail, accuracy and ethical standards when working with sensitive payroll data
- Experience with ADP; familiarity with Kronos is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across HR, technical teams and business leaders
- Ability to create and run reports, plus advanced Excel skills
